Mark Schurgin founded and manages a team of researchers at Google. His team works to develop tools that are designed to help everyone make more informed health decisions for themselves and their loved ones.

Before Google, Mark obtained a PhD in Psychological & Brain Sciences from Johns Hopkins University and conducted postdoctoral work in Dr. Tim Brady's Vision & Memory lab at the University of California, San Diego. Mark's academic research investigates the structure and content underlying visual cognition and memory (including developing a unified model/theory of visual memory).
